IBAC IS a collaboration –
We love working in partnership with our sponsor churches, the institute site hosts, our country logistics coordinators, and the latino pastor teacher team. All have a part in making this ministry happen.
Our IBAC leadership team are frequently involved in the events, but we’re also constantly working behind the scenes to see that the proper pieces are in place for ministry advancement: spiritually, theologically, financially, and logistically. Get to know a bit about us below.
Jim and Melanie Wilson
Jim and Melanie Wilson recently moved to Alabama after 9 years of serving in Costa Rica. They, along with others, developed the IBAC material and implemented the first Bible Institutes in 1998, starting in Nicaragua. Jim is the Director of IBAC and Melanie is the Director of Compassion Ministries and Community Development.
David and Angie Ziel
Dave and Angie Ziel have lived in Costa Rica for 8.5 years and love serving the local church in a variety of ways as well as teaching with IBAC. Dave is a ministry coordinator and Angie works in communication.
Jay and Amy Grooters
Jay and Amy Grooters have lived in Costa Rica for 4.5 years and have a history in business, finance, and administration. Amy is the Director of Finance and Jay is the Director of Operations and Partnership Development.
